Dear Konstantinos,
It has been a while since we spoke, but I have not forgotten you. I hope all is well with you and Mrs. Papadakis is getting along fine.
Konstantinos, I also want to take this opportunity to personally thank you and your associates for a job very well done on the Iconostasion. As the Architect of the church I feel that it complements and also brings out the architecture of the church. Although it is more than a year and a half since its installation our parishioners and visitors still go close to it to admire its beauty. This makes the time it took you to design and carve it well worth it. I am sure you are as proud of your creation as we are having it in our church.
All the icons on the Iconostasion are installed. We are in the process of designing a lighting system which will highlight the Iconostasion and bring out its beauty further.
I hope to visit with you next summer and spend a week or so at your studio. Obviously there is no way to be able to carve as you do, but I will at least learn how to use the tools.
My best to Paul.
May God give you health and long life to be able to create other masterpieces to adorn His churches.
Best regards
Constantine N. Vrettos, AIA
